A former All Japan Free Style Champion in 1961, Fumio Demura came to the United States in 1965 and was named to the 1969 Black Belt Hall of Fame,"Instructor of the Year". Fumio is best known as a weapons expert, author and professional weapons performer. Demura has written texts on Shito Ryu Karate, Sai, and the Bo. He also performed the fight scenes for Pat Morita in "The Karate Kid I & II".
