Eric Lee began tournament competition in 1968 and retired in 1974 as an undefeated kata champion. During that period, Lee won the 1972 International Karate Championships, Grand Champion Kata and the 1971 National Black Belt Kata Grand Championships. Before the advent of form ratings, Lee was unofficially considered the number one forms competitor in the U.S. Eric is currently acting and fight choreographing many major martial arts films. |
