Michael Bernardo has made his presence known on the national tournament scene in fighting, forms and weapons. A member of the 1990 Black Belt Hall of Fame, "Competitor of the Year", Michael is the NASKA (North American Sport Karate Association) weapons champion for 1989, 1990, 1991. Michael Bernardo is the only competitor to take first place in fighting, first place in forms, and first place in weapons at the Battle of Atlanta. Michael is undefeated in weapons competition in 32 consecutive national tournaments. he recently landed a starring role in the film "Shootfighter". |
