Dana was the underdog at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. But in the true spirit of the U.S.A. she upset all opponents on her way to winning the Gold Medal in the women's Taekwondo Lightweight Division. Retiring on top, Dana's goal now is to use her influence to project a favorable image for martial arts and competitive sports by increasing the public awareness of their inherent value.
