American karate pioneer and competitor, one of the first martial arts instructors to establish himself on the east coast. Gary was the winner of the First American Karate Championships held at Madison Square Garden hosted by Mas Oyama in 1962. As a member of the 1974 Black Belt Hall of Fame, "Instructor of the Year", Gary is currently instructing, authoring, designing fighting equipment and hosting tournaments on the east coast.
